A little bit of fun stuff with the more "serious" events listed under either Ranch events or Pasture events.

2005 Hunting Season

Several more hogs were disposed of, but not (never) enough!

Only a cull buck was taken this year (on purpose). We are still working on increasing the older bucks. Several really nice bucks were seen and drolled over. "Let 'em go, let 'em grow".

Great News!!

Potty CrewThe outhouse should be completed today (window to come soon)!!!! Let's hear lots of cheering and applause. The primary Potty Crew is comprised of Pat and Rick with assistance from Gail, Steve and minimal help from Sharon.

Everyone is invited to tryout the new facility.

Fishing Report
Bobcat Pond Bass1The fishing is great! With Largemouth bass being caught at Bobcat Pond on various lures and catfish (both Blue and Channel cats) being caught on the lake with hot dogs and Spam (editable kind).

The large tank at Twin Tanks is full of Bluegill (sorry no pictures). They are fairly small and typically hit before the bobber gets wet.

Keystone Pumping Crew
Crew members Rick and Sharon, quickly learned the advantages of holding on tight when using a trash pump! Especially the output end! Sorry to say there are not any photos to show the wetting that insued while these 2 were learning how to use the new trash pump to fill up the sprayer.

But as usual after a few mis-starts they were successful in getting some of the water in the sprayer.

The second attempt was a little more successful (more water in the sprayer than on the ground). Here is an idea of what the process looks like:
